The HS-130508 survey meter provides an easy-to-use tool for surveying worksites, storage areas and transportation vehicles and is an inexpensive way to adhere to the survey requirements of an ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) Program. The HS-130508 measures alpha, beta, gamma, and x-rays. Its digital display shows readings in your choice of counts per minute (CPM) or mR/hr, or in accumulated counts. A red LED flashes and beeper sounds with each count detected and when the radiation reaches a user set alert level. Uses one 9-volt alkaline battery. Battery life is up to 2,000 hours at normal background radiation levels. The HS-130512 survey meter is a compact, general purpose meter capable of detecting alpha, beta, gamma, and x-rays over 3 selectable ranges. A red count light flashes and a beep sounds with each event detected. Uses one 9-volt alkaline battery. Battery life is up to 2,000 hours at normal background radiation levels.
