SHRP Gyratory Compactor
The SHRP Gyratory Compactor is designed for use in Superpave asphalt mix design. The system has undergone complete testing and is approved by the South Central Superpave Center. Test results were comparable a perfect 12 out of 12 times. Weighing only 550 lbs (249kg), the system is ideally suited for both laboratory and field jobsite applications. The unit is supplied complete with one 150mm mold and PC with calibration equipment and software. Meets ASTM D6925 and all AASHTO and FHWA specifications.

- Consolidation ram travel adjustable, factory set at 10mm/second
- Angle of gyration adjustable from 0.5° to 2.0° +/-0.02° (factory set at 1.25°)
- Rate of gyration 30.0 rpm +/-0.5 rpm, constant
- Automated shutoff for preset specimen height, Nmax or number of gyrations
- Mold height 250mm
- Mold wall thickness 9.5mm minimum
