Shipping and handling fees are applied to all orders to compensate for packaging, shipping costs, and insurance. International orders require special handling fees to be calculated at the time of a quote or order. If purchaser designates the carrier, title to and risk of loss for product passes to the purchaser upon tender to the carrier at the shipping point. Shipping dates are approximate and are based upon receiving all necessary information from purchaser. Humboldt shall not be liable for failure or delays in manufacture or delivery due to causes Order Processing We strive to ship all orders within 1-2 days of receiving them. Sales Tax Taxes, where applicable, will be added as a separate line item to the invoice price. Customer shall pay to Humboldt Mfg Co. the amount of any taxes. If any claim is made against Humboldt for any such taxes, Humboldt shall promptly notify Customer of the amount of such taxes and customer shall promptly pay such amount to Humboldt or its designated payee. If customer possesses or otherwise enjoys tax-exempt status, customer shall provide a duly-authorized certificate of tax exemption to Humboldt prior to an order, at the time of order placement or as otherwise requested by Humboldt. Customer must notify Humboldt upon change in their tax-exempt status. Out of Stock Items While we strive to maintain an inventory second to none in our industry, there are times when something may be out of stock. In those cases, someone from Humboldt's sales department will contact you via email with the status of your order. Guarantee Humboldt Mfg. Co. products are guaranteed against defective materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of shipment. We will repair or replace such items as may prove defective at our option. Under no condition will we allow labor charges or other expenses to repair defective merchandise without our prior approval. Humboldt Mfg. Co. makes or implies no other warranties of any kind or nature of merchantability or fitness for particular purposes that exceed any previously stated obligation. We accept no responsibility for damage or abuse to apparatus due to improper installation or operation. We accept no responsibility for and will not pay for any lost profits incidental, consequential, or special damages. Returned Goods All returns are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee. Items must be in new, unused condition and must be sent back in the original packaging including all manuals, power cords, software, and options to be eligible for return. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges when returning an item. Returns sent COD will not be accepted. After your return has been received, inspected and approved for a refund, a credit will be issued minus any applicable restocking fees, freight charges and handling fees. Damage resulting from improper packing of returned items is solely the customer’s responsibility. Claims It is the Customer's responsibility to inspect all shipments for visual damage upon receipt.
