Rebar Locators

Rebar Locators

Non-Destructive Rebar Location Equipment
Rebar locators (or rebar detectors) and cover meters are instruments that are used to find positioning of steel reinforcement bars in concrete and other non-metallic materials. The ability to pinpoint rebars and other subsurface metal location is critical to avoid damage when cutting, drilling or coring. Different types of rebar locators may be chosen depending on the use in a particular project. These instruments can quickly and accurately locate, orient and measure the depth of cover over rebars.

Humboldt offers a large selection of rebar locators and concrete cover meters, from basic models to the latest in digital technology. We provide rebar locators and cover meters to fit almost any application and budget, from Proceq and Zircon.

The HC-3071-Profometer PM8000 Lite Cover MeterThe easy cover meter! Fast rebar detection, finding the safe spot to drill, spot check cover measurement & estimate rebar diameter.

The HC-3072-Profometer PM8000 The advanced cover meter! Helps you in all your measurement tasks from Rebar detection to area scanning. Precise measurements with unique advanced visualization.

The HC-3073-Profometer PM8000 Pro The expert cover meter! Helps you in all your measurement tasks from Rebar detection to area scanning. Precise measurements with unique advanced visualization.

The HC-2986 Zircon MT 6 Rebar Locator is an economical choice for less demanding rebar location operations with the ability to locate both ferrous and non-ferrous metal up to six inches (152mm) deep in concrete and other non-metallic surfaces.

The budget-friendly HC-2969 Zircon MetalliScanner® MT 7 Rebar Locator is used to find and avoid rebar in concrete before drilling, for finding pipes and junction boxes behind tile, and even detect nails in studs behind plaster walls. The unit features a bright, backlit display and standard and DeepScan modes.
